Job Description

Location: Various locations in Wirral and Cheshire

Salary: £11.10 per hour

Hours Per Week: 35 Hours per week

Employment Type: Care Staff


Job title: Supported Living Worker


Location: Various locations throughout the Wirral and Cheshire


Salary: £11.10 (£11.15 if QCF/NVQ qualified)


Hours: Our core hours are 35 hrs p.w. We have a range of other opportunities to work fewer hours if you prefer.


Sleep ins: Some of our locations require staff to undertake sleep-in duties. These are payable at £60 per night.


Overtime pay: Overtime is available at an additional £1.20 per hour weekdays or £2.00 per hour weekends on top of your hourly rate of pay.


Rota: Typically over a 3 week rota and includes evening and weekend working.

Started in 1968 in Bromborough on the Wirral, we are now one of the UKs largest charities dedicated to supporting people with Autism. We have a number of services throughout the Wirral, NW Cheshire and Wrexham


What will I be doing as a Supported Living Worker?


  • Able to encourage and promote independence.
  • Have willingness to support individuals with personal care needs.
  • Be able to support tenants through times when they are feeling anxious and may result in them displaying risk behaviours.
  • Assist to manage and budget the tenants finances.
  • Complete relevant paperwork, e.g. support plans, reports and charts etc and keeping them up to date.
  • Dispense or assist to give out medication as and when required – full training will be provided.
