YOUR ROLE
Due to an exciting new partnership with a global ecommerce customer based within our new facility in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, we are looking to recruit a dynamic and highly experienced Operations Manager, where you provide direction across this new site driving operational efficiency to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Leading a team of 4 Warehouse Supervisors and circa 60 indirect reports, plus agency resource where you will provide management control through effective planning, organisation, and communication to ensure all KPI targets and measures are achieved. You will implement strategies to form a management team that creates, sustains, and embeds a culture of employee engagement as well as strong development and succession plans.
You will drive performance improvements through auditing processes and reporting mechanisms where you will identify, evaluate, and implement continuous improvement projects in collaboration with internal teams and ensure that all activities remain within quality and budgetary targets.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of leading large warehousing teams with significant operational experience, ideally within an ecommerce or 3PL environment with demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships. You will have strong people management skills with the ability to coach and develop others and be a skilled decision maker who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.
Experience of cost models and budget tracking along with strong report writing and statistical investigative skills are also key requirements for this role.
