Job Description
I am working with a global organisation who are looking for a Software Tester to join their team on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone who can start ASAP on a fully remote basis.
I am looking to speak to individuals who have experience with manual testing (Automation experience would be beneficial) and someone who has experience working with a multitude of stakeholders both internally and externally. Our client are implementing a new payroll system and require someone to join their team who can take the lead on testing this new system (experience working on payroll systems is essential for this role). You will be establishing Test Summary and Status reports and working closely with software developers and project teams.
You'll need to have experience managing individuals, and have knowledge of set-up, implementation, operation and support of software systems either on premise or cloud systems. Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle is also key in this role. Experience writing technical specifications and working with numerous file structures, including CSV, XML, and flat files.
This role will see you preparing test scripts for Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing, working on data conversion testing, and preparing test data, and undertaking data loading as required. You'll be required to use Excel regularly, so you'll need to be fluent on that.
