King’s College Hospital offers an opportunity for passionate and dedicated midwives to join our vibrant maternity team on both the Denmark Hill and Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) sites. You will have the opportunity to work in our dynamic maternity services, with a variety of working patterns. We are looking for midwives to join both our inpatient wards and community teams, with opportunities also in continuity of carer models and our specialist community teams.

Please note that the King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill) posts will attract Inner London high cost allowance pay weighing, and the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) will attract Outer London high cost allowance pay weighting.

We are recruiting midwives who have recently started their career, to join our team. You will be provided with opportunities to develop your skills, gaining valuable experience within all areas of the maternity service.

Becoming a King’s midwife will mean you are supported by a team who want to develop your career, prioritise your well-being, increase your skills and make our service a great place to work. You will be an essential part of our transformation programme to offer an outstanding maternity service.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of autonomous, evidence-based, women-centred midwifery care, whilst working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, other agencies, representatives and service users. The post holder will provide support to other midwives within the service.
