p/t Receptionist
Permanent, Part Time
Salary: £12.36 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 2pm - 8pm (30 hrs a week)
Location: Stratford, E15 2JZ
We are looking for a Receptionist to work on a part-time basis at the UCL East Marshgate Campus in Stratford.
The p/t Receptionist will provide a professional and efficient service to support the operation of the facilities management service. The specific duties will be centred on managing the phone, meeting and greeting visitors and providing an efficient contact route into the management teams. However, it is important to recognize that the role is often the first point of contact into the premises for staff and visitors alike and the professional demeanour is equally important to the detailed tasks.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working front of house, ideally reception
- Excellent telephone manner
- Organised with attention to detail
- Confident personality who is comfortable acting as a welcome host
- Good IT Skills (eg) MS Office, Outlook + ability to pick up new systems
You would be responsible for:
- Answering all incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate recipient
- Processing visitor passes and logging appropriately
- Directing visitors to their appropriate meeting room
- Regular engagement with the site security team regarding overnight issues, document etc
- Using the gatehouse Log open to manage contractor Hours on a daily basis
- Making special announcements on the tannoy
