Your role
We are looking for a Technical Operations Specialist to join our operations team based in Thurrock in one of Fujitsu’s strategic Data Centres. Your primary role will involve providing first line Data Centre support for a range of internal, private and public sector customers to help ensure services remain operational and that incidents are managed promptly within a defined process. As well as dealing directly with customers the successful candidate will also work closely with other Data Centre teams and Fujitsu Business units to pro-actively safeguard customer services, maintain Data Centre installation standards and the upkeep of configuration management toolsets.
This is a shift working role covering 24x7/365 days per year on a 12hr rotational shift pattern. The successful candidate will need to gain the relevant security clearance – SC clearance.
Your experience
- Good communication skills to be able to communicate effectively through online toolsets
- Knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure
- Experience within a process driven environment
- Have an eye for continuous improvement to help enhance Fujitsu’s Data Centre offering
