This is a new role reporting to the Head of Continuous Improvement (CI). The postholder will own end to end emerging CI initiatives, supporting the growth of GL at an exciting time of great change.
The post holder will understand as-is practices, highlight issues and ensure these are understood by key stakeholders. They will help with determining what 'success' looks like and work to support business stakeholders to build practical solutions for to-be processes.
Primary duties:
- Conduct workshops to address stakeholder needs and support those areas as they seek CI wins.
- Use business process models and analysis tools (e.g. BPMN) to fully obtain information about what capabilities the business needs
- Develop fully documented quantitative models of business processes to improve understanding on tools, processes, and customer focused outcomes
- Capture metrics to monitor and evaluate performance of processes
- Produce graphics and illustrations to facilitate CI communication and understanding of change
- Re-engineer and transformation of business processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver successful lean and systems thinking solutions
- Provide ongoing support to the business and teams as change is embedded
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence and present at all levels; achieving buy-in and engagement.
- Adaptable style with strong influencing skills
- Passionate about the benefits of good processes and tools with the ability to generate enthusiasm and trust with stakeholders
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. CI ambassador and can add clarity and apparent simplicity to complex issues
- Team player focus with ability to work under own initiative day-to-day. Takes guidance to support, working collaboratively and with good humour
- Commercially astute and experienced in partnering with internal stakeholders in business decision-making
- Analytical and data driven approach; able to develop and use metrics to support the business case
Skills and experience
- Experienced Business Process Analyst, with at least 3 years in that or an equivalent role (e.g. Continuous Improvement Analyst, Change and Transformation Analyst etc.).
- Strong business analysis and Critical analysis skills
- Excellent knowledge of organisations' enterprise functions and processes
