Growing talent at PMW
At PMW we pride ourselves on being a vibrant and creative full service marketing agency and this is entirely down to our talented team.
Here, we showcase three of our team members whose very first ‘proper’ job was at PMW. We saw their potential, nurtured their talent and encouraged them to find their niche – and we couldn’t be more proud of them:
Lottie Dove – Senior PR Executive
“I started my PR internship at PMW when I was 21, just after graduating from university with a degree in journalism. Initially the internship was only for the summer however that quickly changed when I was offered a year’s placement. Time passed really quickly as I learned so much and before I knew it my internship was complete and I was a fully-fledged PR Executive.
After proving myself as PR Executive I was promoted to Senior PR Executive. During my time here I have always been encouraged to progress to the next level and I am constantly given the support and training to do so.”
Lizzie Blount – Senior Account Executive
“I was 18 years old when I started working at PMW, it was the first really exciting full-time job that I had had. I started here as Client & Social Media Support and I was thrilled that I’d found a job which was social media-based whilst also allowing me to interact with a diverse range of clients from all sorts of sectors. Not long after I started I had the opportunity to move across to the wonderful ‘green room’ and become an Account Executive.
After a couple of years of hard work I was thrilled to be promoted to Senior Account Executive and hope it won’t be too long until I can prove myself as an Account Manager. The support and development at PMW has been great, everybody wants you to be your best.”
Josh Killner – Senior Account Executive
“I first started working at PMW in the summer of 2012, when I was invited for a work experience placement in the design studio, to make the most of my spare time between my second and final year studying journalism at Liverpool John Moores University. A further two weeks of work experience at the beginning of 2013 led to an offer of a year-long internship as a Design Assistant, following my graduation that year.
In early 2014 I was offered a move into account management as an Account Executive, a move which I welcomed with open arms, as I was intrigued to learn more about other aspects of the marketing world. Now, almost two years down the line and following a promotion to Senior Account Executive, I can say that I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that PMW has given me. The varying roles I have had during my time at PMW have given me an insight into all elements of the business and furthered my career progression immensely in such a short space of time.”
