About the role

This is a field based direct to customer sales function. An Account Manager has budget responsibility for the medical portfolio of the Draeger Medical range and will be expected to manage, retain and grow business opportunities with the allocated customers in the designated region.

  • Establish relationships with customer.
  • Meet allocated income targets in the region.
  • Prepare customer quotations and presentations to support business growth.
  • Plan customer visits, meetings, and activities so as to grow the business opportunities
  • Prepare short-, medium- and long-term business plans for customer purchasing opportunities
  • Use company Customer relationship Management Tool (CRM) to record and drive activities through to fruition.
  • Work with colleagues in the Draeger organisation to ensure customers’ needs are met.
  • Promoting range of products with existing and new customers to meet allocated regional budget.
  • Work on cohesive way with other Draeger Medical personnel to ensure customer relationships are always maintained.
  • Using back-office support team, ensure that customer correspondence and quotations are completed and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Using CRM tool, ensure that details of regional activity is recorded and managed appropriately.
  • Prepare in a timely manner all reporting and customer information for line management.
  • Assist the Sales Team as a whole to achieve goals and targets.
  • Prepare for, and attend quarterly team meetings and training sessions


Your Qualifications

  • Educated to A level standard is desirable.
  • Sales background is imperative
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Capable of working in a team and to deadlines
  • Knowledge of healthcare market preferable
  • Must understand fully the importance of customer relationships
  • Must be capable of preparing and presenting business to other team members and customers
  • Team player
  • Ability to work on timed projects
  • Be able to demonstrate meeting of timelines for reporting and expenses
  • Work within allocated cost budget
  • Personal residence must be within designated region
