Job Description
Technician – one year in the first instance: duties to maintain high standards of animal welfare such as: feeding animals, maintenance of coats, hooves and claws, moving animals as required, mucking out, maintaining a clean environment and assisting the staff in the smooth running of the unit.
This role will require weekend/school holiday work as agreed with the team to ensure animal welfare is maintained at all times and also to ensure that funding opportunities are maximised – these include running children’s parties, holiday clubs and Open Day events.
This position would suit people with an ambitious nature, looking to add to the continued growth of the ASU whilst further developing their professional skills and experience.
This role requires the candidates to have experience of working with animals, be a good communicator and be willing to contribute to a team that is striving to grow the area.
Hours to be determined dependent on the candidate’s availability but as a minimum we are looking for the Technician providing weekend cover initially with scope to extend into week days. Salary dependent on experience.
