An exciting opportunity has arisen within Estates and Facilities Management who are seeking to appoint an Energy and Utilities Administrator to join the Energy Team who form part of the Sustainability Team.
The Energy Team is responsible for the management and reporting of the annual £20 million energy and water consumption and expenditure across both the Loughborough and London campuses.
Reporting to the Energy Technician the post holder will facilitate the monthly activities associated with the collation and management of the utilities data to ensure that monthly internal and external reporting requirements are delivered in an effective and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all University finance and governance regulations and guidance.
Applicants should have well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to work flexibly and independently to time-based deadlines while managing their own work load in an office based environment. It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint and have experience of working with complex data sets.
Previous experience and knowledge of working within a higher education environment, utilising financial software and dealing with utility supply companies on commercial utility contracts is welcome, but it is not essential as full training will be provided.
