Job Description
With the growth and complexity of its remit, the ELC is seeking to appoint a Data & Systems Assistant to be an integral part of its Operations area. Data and Systems manages and oversees the Centre¿s data management, business systems and supports a number of aspects of the student journey.
As Data & Systems Assistant, you will define, lead and develop systems and processes required for the registration of all new students to the department and lead on the maintenance of accurate student records, including the ELC¿s electronic registers. You will monitor data quality through the creation and maintenance of regular business reports, and manage the production of all standard information, statutory returns and submissions to internal and external bodies (e.g. BALEAP).
You will also maintain and develop the department¿s systems, such as email distribution lists, internal shared drive access (SharePoint) and IT equipment in addition to keeping the department¿s website up to date and relevant. Additionally, you will manage and be first point of contact for all ELC students who require assistance with their email, IT logins and VLE registration. You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
