We are looking for a Fibre Manager who will be responsible for overseeing fibre activities on construction sites for fibre builds. Your Main responsibility as a Fibre Manager will be to manage the day to day running of the project ensuring all works are completed on time and to a high quality.
Responsibilities:
- You will manage sub-contractors and their activity e.g. splicing, PIA sub ducting cabling & fibre blowing for Network and SDU and MDU builds
- You will liaise with Highways and Local authorities to ensure everything is in place for the works.
- Motivate, guide and mentor team members to exceed goals and create a positive work environment
- Train new employees in company standards and job duties
- Update daily/weekly reports with achieved productivity
- Determine the resource requirements for the completion of all works
- Supervision of all operatives, subcontractors
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience of managing sub-contractor teams completing fibre activities
- MDU experience
- Supervisor Ticket - Desired
- Working knowledge of fibre activity (splicing, PIA ducting, fibre blowing)
