Pennine Recruitment (acting as a Recruitment Agency) are delighted to be recruiting 3x Manufacturing Operatives fixed weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) on a permanent, full-time basis for our prestigious client based in Normanton (West Yorkshire)
Kongsberg Automotive (Normanton) manufacture parts for some of the most premier automotive companies in the world including Aston Martin, McLaren, and Jaguar Landrover, alongside the manufacture of the highest quality PTFE hose used in both automotive and industrial sectors. With over 250 employees in the UK, and strong links to the global Kongsberg Automotive community, this is a great opportunity to further your career with a market leading company. This specific role will be working as part of the PTFE team.
The Role (to include but not limited to)
- Operating and setting specific machinery (full comprehensive training provided)
- End-to-end machine supervision
- Inspection & Quality control
- Testing product
- Troubleshooting & communicating effectively with supervisors around any manufacturing issues.
- Adhering at all times to recognised safe working practices.
The person
- Ideally have worked in a manufacturing environment previously (all manufacturing environments considered)
- Can demonstrate long term commitment to previous roles
- Positive attitude
- Commitment to excellent attendance and timekeeping
- Analytical and process driven
- Ability to work with the minimum of direction and supervision whilst keeping themselves and their colleagues safe.

Fixed days of the week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Hours of work (2 week rotation – 1 week of each)
- 05:45 – 17:45 (Days)
- 17:45 – 05:45 (Nights)
Salary starting at £21,079 / £11.75 per hour
In addition to basic salary, you will receive a further £200 per month to the basic salary as shift allowance for unsociable hours worked at weekends.
