We are currently looking for candidates to join the team at our Plenmeller site based in Haltwhistle Northumberland UK, where we use Blow Moulding Technology to specialise in the production of plastic products for the consumer and chemical industry.
You will be working within a small team of Technicians and Operators who are responsible for the running and maintenance of our blow moulding machines. The purpose of the Production Operator role is to pack and quality check products in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with; product specification, standard operating procedures, customer requirements and Health, Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures.
You will be required to work 2 x 12 hour Dayshift, 2 x 12 hour Nightshift, 2 days Off (Repeat 4 times and then 10 days off)
Salary £22,932.00 per annum
Qualifications:
No Experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that everyone works in a safe manner, ensuring compliance at all times with Company policy and procedures regarding Health and Safety, standards of product, quality, housekeeping and hygiene.

Always comply with appropriate PPE requirements.

Carry out only those tasks which the job holder is competent, trained and/or qualified to perform, unless supervised by fully trained personnel.

Perform visual quality checks/inspect products in order to ensure packing specifications are met.

Inform relevant departments when product quality has not met company. standards and complete appropriate paperwork.

Follow product works order for packing specifications.

Ensure finished product is labelled correctly.

Carry out general housekeeping duties as/when required.

Report all hazards by filling in the hazard book.

Follow all safe working procedures.
- Work as part of a team to achieve production targets.
