Job Description
Element Six looks to solve customer challenges using the materials exceptional properties in order to build unique solutions.
We are looking for an energetic, innovative, and driven individual with a passion for new ideas and strong technical knowledge to join our team. The successful candidate will join us at our world class Global Innovation Centre in Harwell, Oxfordshire. The projects we are interested to recruit for are focused on delivering cubic boron nitride (cBN) composite products with engineered specifications for various machining applications across industries such as General Engineering, Automotive and Aerospace.
Candidates should care about what they do, have good attention to detail and work well both in a team and individually. They should be creative, self-motivated, and able to deliver on challenging objectives.
We are looking for a hands-on Materials Science or Chemistry (Inorganic chemistry specialization preferable) graduate; but those with a degree in Physics or a relevant Engineering subject are also encouraged to apply. Experience with powder handling, chemical treatments, materials sintering and bulk/surface characterisation techniques are an advantage.
