⭐⭐⭐ Accounts Payable Assistant ⭐⭐⭐
Salary: £28,000 + Benefits (private health, subsidised gym membership, etc).
Hours: 37.5 hours - Monday - Friday
Start: Immediate (willing to wait for notice period)
Contract: Permanent / Full-Time - (Hybrid - 2 days in the office / 3 days from home)

⭐ Culture Guru is working with a renowned intellectual property firm, supporting the new hire of a detail-orientated, accurate and professional Accounts Payable Assistant.
You will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable team, ensuring deadlines are being met promptly. Someone with high accuracy and quality of work will be needed to assist internal stakeholders.
⭐ Responsibilities of the role but not limited to;
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox, delegating emails to appropriate Accounts Payable team member accurately and efficiently.
- Inputting and updating renewal invoices on the internal system
- Review the weekly discrepancy list and raise it with the Accounts Payable manager accordingly
- Request and reconcile statements of account from suppliers and investigate discrepancies resulting in accurately matched internal records
- Correctly match off invoices in IPT with the Renewals report
- Ensure invoice exports from Access Dimensions are shown on IPT/WIP
- Administering, cancelling and adjusting credit limits on new company credit cards
- Requesting VAT receipts and distributing Credit Card statements to stakeholders inputting correct codes in Access Dimensions
- Accurately process reconciliations at month-end, quarter-end, year-end and at other ad-hoc times with the supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager
- To provide ad-hoc support to all Accounts Payable and the wider Finance team members as and when requested

- An investigative and curious personality with a willingness to self-develop with qualifications and accreditations to progress within the Accounts department
- Advanced analytical and numeracy skills
- Responsible to manage own workload with the ability to prioritise in pressured circumstances with enthusiasm
- Excellent professional communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience working in intellectual property (IP) businesses (would be desirable but not essential)
- Experience working in a professional services business (would be desirable but not essential)
