Job Purpose:
The digital Product Owner leads a cross-functional team to deliver improvements to the Primark digital customer and colleague experience though Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud products. Responsible for the management and sign-off of team output, the management and prioritisation of the product backlog and benefit reporting and analysis. They will influence and advocate future development based on a deep knowledge of digital, Primark business strategy and relevant industry activity.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for owning the Customer 360 strategy within the larger digital product domain: driving the roadmap and execution for the support, maintenance and enhancement of the Salesforce platform. Leading a team of Salesforce specialists and working closely with shared services (architecture, engineering etc.) to help ensure quality of delivery, measure performance and communicate progress to stakeholders, whilst conveying the value that their product area creates, and what problems it is solving for our customers.

Acts as liaison point between business stakeholders to define the roadmap for their product, considering commercial benefits, customer perspective, technical feasibility, benchmark experiences and innovative thinking. Manage the business and technical relationship with the Salesforce Team. Be the subject matter expert on the latest offerings and best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem to ensure maximum value is extracted out of the technology.

Responsible for signing off team’s output and maximising value whilst ensuring alignment with the relevant business strategies, providing clear visibility of the backlog to wider digital team.

Develops a high performing digital product team. Drives for continual improvement in team performance and encourages development of self and others, cultivating a collaborative and motivated team environment working towards a common goal.

Has a detailed industry knowledge of the latest developments in technology and relevant activity of other organisations, particularly competitors. Shares this knowledge and uses it to identify new opportunities and improve existing functionality and the customer experience.

Supports our transformation by proactively educating colleagues within technology and wider Primark about agile methodologies and product management.
Knowledge & Experience:
-
Over 5 years’ experience in Product Owner or business relationship management within a global FMCG (preferred) environment.

Strong experience using Salesforce, in particular Marketing Cloud & Service Cloud.

Salesforce certifications: Admin, Service and Marketing Cloud, with at least 2+ years of Salesforce administration hands-on experience.

Whilst this is not a technical role, but you must be able to communicate and direct technical colleagues, which needs a strong understanding of the platform.

An appropriate degree, equivalent qualification or experience.

Preferably a certification in Agile Product Ownership, Scaled Agile or equivalent Relationships
