Job Description:
As a team leader you will be planning daily work schedules focusing on expected volume, staff levels and department goals to enable safe and efficient execution of the preload operation.
Working hours will require flexibility but an approximation will be 14:45 - 20:45 (Monday-Friday). This role has an hourly rate of £15.74 covering 30-hours per week.
Your responsibilities:
- Communicate operational objectives, changes and updates to maintain a well informed & focused work group.
- Prepare and prioritize workload for the team.
- Monitor the performance of the shift and re-assign workload as appropriate.
- Appropriately react to changing operational priorities as dictated by operational requirements.
- Have a positive impact to employee engagment
- Create and maintain daily operational reports
- Maintain updated employee training & certifications to provide a safe & proficient work environment.
Required skills:
- Confident motivator and communicator.
- Experience of leading others is desired but no essential
- Have an analytical ability and can make well thought decisions in a fast paced environment.
- Organised and conscientious.
- Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft packages and preferably UPS systems.
