Accounts Assistant

Job Description

Job role:

• Accounts Assistant
• Salary up to 30,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
• Full-time.
• Flexible start and finish times.
• 25 days plus Bank Holidays.
• Luton HQ based.

Requirements:

• AAT qualified, part-qualified or a university degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Good IT skills, including the use of MS Office & Excel.
• Initiative-taking and keen to add value to the Finance department.
• Good analytical skills.
• Live in the UK because the role is office based.

Responsibilities:

• Process purchase invoices and expenses.
• Resolve supplier queries.
• Raise sales invoices.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Assist with the payroll process.
• Match invoices with purchase orders.
• Process credit card and cash expenses.
• Post journals.
• Maintain a fixed asset register.
• Take care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing.
• Prepare payment runs for approval and then subsequently make payment runs.
• Assist with Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly Management Accounts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting process.
• Ad hoc analysis requests when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year
