We are currently recruiting for full time and part time Staff Nurses to join the team at our In Patient Unit. Previous palliative care experience is not essential but a passion for providing excellent nursing care in a small team is.
You will assess individual care needs and develop appropriate care plans using a holistic approach, providing information, advice and support to patients, families and carers. You will also provide support to Nursing Support Assistants as required and maintain accurate nursing records using our patient information system.
About You
To be considered for this role you will need to be a level one registered nurse and interested in developing your skills in a palliative care setting. Previous experience of working with terminally ill patients or in an oncology setting would be desirable but not essential. As part of a small team, you will need to be flexible and a good team player with the ability to work a full range of shifts including Nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays.
