We offer a variety of flexible working arrangements, so you'll be mainly working from home and can be located anywhere in the UK, but some travel will be required
In this role, you’ll be leading your team and making sure all the information, advice and guidance provided to our customers is suitable, appropriate and communicated in a clear way. You'll also contribute to the wider strategy of the consultancy team as a broader part of the leadership team.
We'll need you to monitor this strategy by observing customer interactions and completing quality checks, following up with feedback and coaching to improve the customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:

Giving clarity and direction to your team on business priorities, empowering them to succeed

Driving customer satisfaction and good customer outcomes by coaching your team to identify our customers' needs and to provide suitable products and services

Using data to monitor service and team performance and forecast future needs to drive enhancements for colleagues and customers

Managing your team’s people metrics, attendance, recruitment, capability growth, performance management and employee relations matters

Building capabilities, knowledge and technical skills with colleagues across teams and businesses, taking the time to coach, mentor and support others
We’re looking for someone with good people leadership skills who's interested in delivering a great service to our customers. You'll have excellent planning, organising and time management skills. A background in Health, Safety, Environmental or Employment Law and HR would be advantageous.
As well as this, you’ll need to be an excellent communicator, with high levels of interpersonal skills to effectively coach your team and drive continuous improvements across the Consultancy team. Experience of improving the customer journey through change projects would be beneficial.

Experience of working in a commercial environment and making a contribution to our business income growth

Excellent relationship building skills

The ability to consistently improve your knowledge by referring to legislation and case law

Good analytical and reporting skills and experience of managing a team of technical experts
