What you will be doing
- To carry out the daily, weekly and monthly functions in order to ensure the correct accounting for all Accounts Payable, Income Audit and Cashiering relating tasks
- To audit daily Rooms, Food and Beverage revenue summaries and their supporting reports of the Night Audit Process.
- To account for all incidental revenues in the hotel.
- To ensure that all the day's Meeting rooms revenue has been recorded.
- To prepare the listing of cashiers shortage/overage from the General Cashier's Report and submits to FC for appropriate action.
- To review paid-outs and allowance vouchers for reasonableness, proper approval and supporting documents.
- To check rebates, allowance summary and paid-outs for the Controller's and General Manager's approval.
- To make spot checks on correct room rates and prices charged.
- To verify supports for complimentary rooms, house use and rate variance reports.
- Check room maid report against room clerks report to identify the variance and prepares the room variance report.
- To control all the open/dummy folios on a daily basis.
- To review all house use and entertainment checks to ensure that they are properly signed.
- To review guest ledger balance daily and research questionable movements.
- To investigate late charges and skippers. All details should be forwarded to the Credit Manager for further action.
- To carry out surprise cash counts of cashier's floats and any other floats.
- To maintain organized files of all audit records.
- To perform any other reports and analysis as requested by any management.
- To assist the FC in preparing worksheets for review meetings.
- Collect and file all delivery notes for sundry and miscellaneous items
- To ensure that the goods are issued and received at the correct unit of measure.
- Report price differences to Purchasing.
- Receive and close purchase orders in the system
- To ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed.
- To perform any other reports and analysis as requested.
- To assist the Controller in preparing worksheets and report review meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of the Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of the month end reports and folder.

What are we looking for
- 2 years of financial experience is required
- Experience with OnQ system is desirable
- Have full integrity
- Demonstrating passion and pride in your everyday work
