We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at Kingsway Vet Group, Skipton Veterinary Hospital. You will be involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing including anaesthetics, nurse clinics, post op care and in-patient care. Our shift patterns vary, and you will rotate between theatre, recovery, hospital, and nurse clinics.
You will be required to work on average 36 hours per week across 4 days. The shift times are between 7.30am and 8.30pm with full weekends 1 in 6 and part weekend Saturday (4.5 hours) 1 in 6.
As we have designated night nurses there is minimal out of hours to cover, the cover would only be for night nurse holidays and any sickness cover.
The salary for this role is up to £29,000 depending on experience.
We are an expanding Veterinary Hospital who have been providing veterinary care for over 80 years, successfully combining a traditional ethos of care with progressive modern medicine. Kingsway is proud to be a referral centre for cardiology and soft tissue surgery.
We have an in-house laboratory, ECG, digital x-ray, rigid and flexible endoscopy, ultrasound with colour flow Doppler, 24-hour on-site nursing care, CPD and further qualifications encouraged.

Our team consists of 7 vets, 10 RVN’s, 1 SVN, 2 Auxiliary Nurses plus supportive administration team including Clinical Director Beth Laycock and Practice Director Susan Pearson.
