We are on the search for an inspiring and passionate Senior Sales. Reporting to the Store Manager you will ensure that processes and procedures are maintained and reviewed to ensure a streamlined, customer focused approach. Guiding, motivating and developing your team you will be strategic and change orientated and drive this in a consistent manner.
This position will be for our Leeds Store located within the prestigious Queens Arcade.Designer Exchange is a sustainable led company located throughout the UK, with a presence in Spain. Backed by a sister company that has had insurmountable success with the second hand electronic industry we have been open since December 2013 and have already exceeded all expectations.
Where customers previously only had the option to sell their designer items on a consignment basis, now they can get instant cash for their pre-loved accessories regardless of the price.
Looking ahead we see nothing but fantastic opportunities for this company and it’s staff members as we look to open our 8th store soon. It is an incredible opportunity for anyone interested in breaking away from the usual retail routine and desires more from the designer and fashion industry that cannot only reach goals, but exceed them. The successful applicant will be expected work 5 days a week (including some weekends). We also offer an uncapped bonus scheme for all staff based on store performance.
The purpose of the role is:
- Sell and advise customers
- Handle payments in cash, card and voucher
- Provide excellent customer service both in store and online
- Assist customers with booking in stock to sell to us
- Assist customers selling their items to Designer Exchange
- Pack and process ecommerce orders
- Work within a team towards operations and commercial objectives
- Assist management to ensure sales and buys targets are met weekly
- Follow the delegation of management
- Ensure the store is maintained
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for the resale industry and sustainability
- Enthusiasm for fashion and follows current trends
- Have an interest in the designer items that we buy and sell
- Be experienced in the luxury retail environment
- Be able to use a till system, gmail, google drive and google sites
- Be a fast learner who can follow delegated tasks
- Pay close attention to detail and accuracy
- Have excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Be open to training and development
- Proactive with an eagerness to learn, develop and work
- Existing retail experience is preferred within the luxury industry
The ideal candidate will understand our company ethos and have a background in the luxury industry.
