Field Sales Executive - Birmingham and Leicester area covering Cash and Carry and Independent retailers.
£21,000 - £24,500 Per annum.
Business mileage is payable at 30p per mile.

About the role
Do you want to join the best in service Instore sales team on behalf of Glanbia Performance Nutrition, a major player in the world of sports nutrition, with sales in over 130 countries globally? This could be your opportunity to represent award-winning, iconic brands including Optimum Nutrition, BSN and Nutramino! If so you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing strong customer relationships within your territory to identify and unlock incremental revenue opportunities to drive sales & distribution targets and KPI’s.
- Deliver commercial sales opportunities and growth throughout your sales territory.
- Maximise brand presence within the trade in your sales territory leading sales conversations.
- Lead and facilitate Glanbia category & brand training with key customers
- Support key customers in the re-merchandising of planograms where required. Maintaining brand visual and operational excellence in compliance
- Develop a high performing field mentality to deliver on all KPIs
- Maintain an expert understanding of client’s business and products to aid successful selling
- Fully understand the clients Retail landscape to allow for competitor advantage and seasonal opportunities to be delivered
The successful candidate will need to drive and have their own vehicle and provide business insurance (IF APPLICABLE)
And will be covering Dhamecha depots and Independent retailers within that area

About you
Ideally you’ll have previous experience within a relevant sales or retail environment or have brand ambassador experience within FMCG/Consumer goods markets. Regardless of previous experience you’ll need to be able to demonstrate:
- Energy, drive, determination, and passion to deliver excellent service to clients and customers
- Sales focus, with the ability to lead sales conversations, close deals and convert sales opportunities.
- Excellent, engaging communication & presentation skills with the ability to influence and implement change
- Strong relationship building skills and previous experience delivering against targets and KPIs
- Strong organisational, planning skills and analytical skills
- Ability to document ideas and actions to drive performance from business plans
