We're looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about accounting and finance. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for anything from basic accounts receivable work to providing general administrative support. We are seeking a talented individual who enjoys working independently and who is highly motivated to excel in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a database of all suitable subcontractors ensuring they meet the required standard
- Management of CIS Verification's & Insurances
- Deduct CIS in accordance with HMRC Legislation.
- Process Subcontractor Payments & Post payments on accounts software
- Issuing CIS statements to Subcontractors
- Maintaining Clean Ledgers & Filling System
- File monthly CIS returns
- Administration support to Office manager/accounts department
- Front desk and reception
- Dealing with general telephone enquiries from clients and relaying onto relevant internal departments
- Sales Invoice processing & raising
- Credit control
- Cash book maintenance
- Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
- Banks reconciliation
- Liaising with third party providers, clients. subcontractors and suppliers
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week
Salary: £22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
