Equities Technology Summer Intern
Equities Technology (Portfolio Manager Tools) is responsible for development and day-to-day support of the technology platform that enables our businesses to research, develop strategies, create simulated trade books, access risk and factor analytics at a security and a portfolio level.
Responsibilities include:

Work with the R&D and application development teams to assist in research, design, prototype and implementation of next generation high-performance strategy research solutions

Assist the team in building out a market leading portfolio management platform by working directly with the business

Work with different technologies in order to provide the state of the art market data platforms used in various portfolio analytics across the entire firm

Contribute to application development, project management, and business analysis
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

Rising seniors or Master’s students entering their final year who are interested in a future career at a top-tier alternative asset financial services firm

Major in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other Technology focus preferred

Strong computer science fundamentals (Data Structures, Algorithms, etc)

Experience with programming languages (C, C++ or Python) in Linux environment

Proficiency in one or more scripting languages preferred

Cumulative GPA of 3.4 and above required

Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork and analytical skills

Strong technical skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
The estimated base salary for this position is $150,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
