Our client, who is a leading and successful firm are seeking to appoint a
Trainee Accountant at their offices in Bedale. This would be a perfect fit for an enthusiastic and driven individual, seeking to continue or kickstart your career in an Accountancy role, where study support and further opportunities will be provided. You will gain relevant exposure and experience to carve out a successful career.
Duties as a Trainee Accountant;
- Carrying out bookkeeping duties
- Using various systems
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns
- Liaising with internal and external parties
- Preparing accounts and tax for a variety of businesses
- Being involved in the audit process
- Relevant general ad-hoc duties
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills on all levels
- The ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
- Good knowledge of systems including Microsoft office
- Strong organisational skills
- Some relevant work experience/qualifications (preferred)
To be successful as a Trainee Accountant, you will be a proactive individual with a keen desire to learn. In return you will receive a salary between £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday.
