We are Mentor Education, a top London tuition agency that specialises in providing children with individualised teaching from experienced educators, inspiring them to unlock their potential. As well as working with private families we are also committed to our communities and our outreach programmes include tuition for Grenfell survivors and volunteering at local schools to help disadvantaged students recover from Covid learning loss. We are also very excited to be kicking off our online school for Afghan girls in March 2022.
Our business is growing, and we are now looking to onboard a cohort of new 7+,11+,13+ entrance tutors. We are looking for experienced educators to work for us on a freelance basis, providing face-to-face and online tuition to children hoping to pass entrance exams into the best Independent and Grammar schools. We are fully committed to Safer Recruitment and Safeguarding in everything we do.
We are looking for somebody with 11 plus experience and who would be able to handle a small group of children for a morning. They would also have to be quite personable and presentable, so that the parents feel comfortable.
Requirements:
- At least strong 2 years’ experience as a teacher or tutor.
- Track record of Students and Success rates with independent top 100 schools in London
- Based in London and be able to travel
- An undergraduate degree and strong academic background.
- At least 4 hours’ availability a week (In Person).
- Experience preparing children for 7+,11+ and 13+ exams.
- Delivery of excellent lesson plans and reports.
Preferred:
- We are looking for tutors with a track record of success in helping children gain admission to competitive independent London day schools.
- The ability to commit to a family for at least one year or exam cycle

Salary: £35.00-£50.00 per hour
