B.S. degree qualified in a Audio or Electronics engineering.
Experience, preferably in low power Audio Electronics Hardware Design and Integration.
Previous experience in wearable/Bluetooth audio projects
Design of low noise Audio circuits to support narrow and wideband acoustics, circuit designs supporting Microphones and Speaker drivers, filters, ADC/DAC (Analogue/Digital Converters), low noise linear and switching power supplies.
High speed digital electronics experience, working with microcontrollers, DSPs etc.
Use of Audio Precision or Soundcheck test equipment, to measure audio component, sub-circuit and full product performance.
Working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout software such as Altium or Mentor Graphics.
Experience using simulation tools to support design calculations, tolerance analysis, and documentation.
Experience of electronics design for commercial products.
Experience in DFM, DFX and DFMEA.
Preferably experience of home appliance safety requirements and regulatory certification at PCBA and product levels, including EMC/ESD.
Some knowledge of RF requirements, to design for RF emissions and EMC susceptibility.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently deliver high quality results within challenging project timelines.
Highly motivated and self-driven with good communication skills, and team working experience.
The following capabilities will be a distinct advantage:
Detailed knowledge of Bluetooth Dual Mode SOC IC’s, such as those supplied by Qualcomm.
Acoustic design and testing, battery technology and power management.
Previous experience in design and testing of radio antenna, power optimization and certification.
Experience in vibration transducer components, such as accelerometers and gyros
Experience in RF certification communications and Bluetooth.
