Deene Park is a Tudor & Georgian mansion situated on the outskirts of Corby, Northamptonshire. Open for house tours, visits to the stunning gardens & for private or public events.
We have a terrific opportunity for an energetic and outgoing Tea Room Assistant who would like flexible working hours.
Experience in catering and event work is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
To ensure a high-quality welcome, service and customer experience in the tearoom, including private hire and special functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide a warm welcome and exceptional customer experiences at all times.
- Accurately take orders from customers and assist with any dietary information and needs.
- Ensure high standards of presentation and cleanliness in all areas at all times (food preparation areas, indoor and outdoor dining areas, service counters, food and beverage display areas, customer facilities, indoor and outdoor storage areas).
- Maintain food and beverage displays, replenishing stock, in order to maximise sales potential.
- Assist with food preparation, and other kitchen duties as required.
- Assist with the clearing tables, dishwashing and other general cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment and resources at all times, complying with health and safety and food hygiene requirements at all times.
- Undertake cash handling and operate the till.
- Work to achieve financial income targets.
- Any other duties that are appropriate to the role.
Flexible 12-20 hours over per week, including weekend work and Bank Holiday
Must have own transport – there is no public transport to Estate
Be able to start in April 2023

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
