Senior Care Assistant Nights
Atrium Healthcare are recruiting on behalf of a residential care home for Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to provide support to residents based in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. Your role will also include working with:
· Mental Health
· Physical/Learning Disabilities
· Dementia/Alzheimer’s
· Challenging Behaviours
· End of Life Care
· Elderly support
Duties:
· Helping our residents with personal support and care.
· Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
· Maintaining care plans.
· Support in training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care centre, under the supervision of senior staff members.
· Assist service users in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual).
· Provide attention when needed whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity.
· Carry out regular checks on service users at intervals determined by senior staff members.
Experience/ Qualifications:
· NVQ Level 3 in care desireable but not essential.
· Divers License.
· Right to work in the UK.
· Previous experience of 1 year min with any of the above-mentioned areas of care.
