About the service user
J is aged 19 and is an incredibly happy and cheerful young man with the most infectious giggle. J enjoys hydrotherapy, watching TV, having stories read to him, and going out and about. J has cerebral palsy and requires adult help for all his needs, including personal care. He is fed via a PEG.
Hours and rate of Pay
Up to £15 per hour Gross, full time 40+ hours per week, permanent contract
7.00 am - 7.00pm with flexibility.
What you would be doing
You will always be working alongside another Carer as J requires 2:1 care.
The Support Worker will enable J to participate in activities, explore current and new hobbies and interests, and access the local community.
The Support Workers role will assist with personal care and all self-help skills.
The person I would like
An excellent communicator that is proactive, energetic, and fun. The successful candidate must be a driver, a non-smoker/vaper, and have great experience with physical disability.
