Here are some reflections from a current colleague in the team:
“I first started working for the Council in a Business Support role and for the first few years had other business or project support roles. Through these roles I developed a wide range of skills and experience. I moved into one of the corporate teams and with their nurturing and support was able to progress to the role of project officer on a permanent contract. I realised that a lot of the skills I had developed were transferrable to this role. I then successfully went on to become a project manager”.
