BAO Kings Cross are seeking a Commis Chef to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commis Chef looking for a new role in an award winning, critically acclaimed group.
Located in Pancras Square, BAO Kings Cross is a Taiwanese CafeÌ serving lunch and dinner as well as BAO bakery goods (BBGs) from the Bakery Goods counter. On the menu you'll find a nostalgic Taiwanese offering with innovative and unconventional touches that draw on influences from Taiwanese old cafes and teashops, alongside a selection of BAOs. For those looking for items on the go, you can also order bubble tea, coffee, BAOs and a selection of BBG's from the counter.
As a Commis Chef, you will be working in the open kitchen preparing mise en place for the Chefs de Partie. You'll assist CDPs in producing outstanding and creative dishes, using fresh local ingredients and innovative recipes to wow our guests.
If you are an enthusiastic team player who is passionate about food and hospitality, have excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and develop with us, then we want to hear from you. Good knowledge of or experience in Asian cuisine and culture is a bonus!
