Job Description
Press Loft, an international PR platform, is looking for a Marketing Manager to help us scale Press Loft in the UK and globally. We have been established for seventeen years and blend the spirit of a tech start-up with the security of a long-standing business.
We are looking for a creative and analytical marketer, comfortable finding new ways of acquiring clients and optimising the LTV of existing members. We particularly want a focus on improving activation of existing products. We're looking for someone who combines data and analysis with creativity, and can quickly turn analysis into actions. You will also be working collaboratively across various teams including UX, customer success and tech to achieve our ambitious growth.
We are a (mostly) remote team but pride ourselves on our close culture. We will offer a positive environment where we are invested in you personally and professionally with training opportunities. Your output is as important as your team fit. We are looking for an empathetic people-person who likes fostering close working relationships and creating a warm working environment. You need to be able to get into London fortnightly to work, we also have regular socials in London so we need someone who can also come to meet the team at least twice a month.
What you will do:
- Establish a data and experimentation-led approach to our digital marketing.
- Manage creative marketing campaigns and channels to optimise activation of our current product set.
- Establish a refreshed email marketing strategy in terms of onboarding activation, driving retention and sales conversion. Email marketing is central to our marketing mix so experience in email automation systems is essential.
- Segmentation of our current customer base.
- Test and implement new acquisition channels.
- Analyse and incrementally improve our current onboarding and conversion funnels.
- Work with our tech teams to implement new automated, scalable marketing.
- Work with our UX designer to optimise onsite customer experience.
- Ensure we are working with the right partners (agencies, external partners) and using the right software to scale growth and retention.
- Devise our content marketing strategy to better utilise our content.
- Explore new partner platforms and potential partners and ways to reach our audience with entertaining and educational content that continues to build our community of brands.
- You will be instrumental in growing the number of companies using Press Loft by identifying opportunities and then designing and implementing user acquisition strategies and campaigns including lead generation campaigns, retention and new territory and sector launches.
- You will drive strong partnerships with other businesses and networks to drive increased memberships.
- Strategic planning for new territory and sector launches.
- You will also be joining occasional trade events to raise our profile so we are looking for someone who is comfortable meeting clients.
About you:
- Are passionate about growing an ambitious SaaS business with a demonstrated track record in B2B & / or SaaS product marketing.
- Have at least three years working experience in a digital marketing role, with experience in multiple areas of the acquisition and retention funnel.
- Are led by data: you enjoy crunching numbers to understand performance.
- Are ambitious, proactive and want the opportunity to own the growth strategy at Press Loft.
- Agile and flexible mindset, being a tech company we enjoy experimenting with new ideas and hacks at short notice.
- Are a people-person - personality fit is as important as skill in our close team.
- Are able to get into London twice a month.
In return we offer a warm working environment, flexible hours, training opportunities, generous holiday allowance, great socials.
