Job Description
We are looking for a outgoing and chatty person to join our team as a receptionist, here at Pups & Pals Dog Grooming.
The mains duties are:
- Being responsible for customer enquiries via Facebook, phone calls or texting
- Booking in customers for services
- Cash handling
- Keeping our shop from looking clean, tidy and presentable
- Assisting other staff where necessary
- Upselling of services or retail products
Essential requirements:
- Be a dog lover!
- Have experience in a similar role
- Be organised
- Be confident around all shapes and sizes of dogs
- Have a outgoing personality
- Be able to work alone effectively and within a team
- Be computer savvy.
Desirable but not essential traits:
- Already have some knowledge of social media.
- Have some knowledge of photoshop (training will be provided).
Pay:
Meets national minimum wage and tips are shared equally between staff members.
Hours:
Hours to be discussed, working 16 hours over 4/5 days
Over time is available during busy periods.
