Technical Manager - Shoreditch House
We are seeking an excellent and outgoing Technical Manager to join our team in Shoreditch House.
Technical Manager - Shoreditch House
Full time - 40 hours p/w predominantly evening & weekends
Based at Shoreditch House but could be on occasion asked to support other sites
Responsibilities:
- Engineering Live Sound for up to 5 evening events per week.
- Often engineering live sound for weekend events.
- Acting as a point-person for pre-event advancing, agreeing and delivering tech requirements with internal and external event partners.
- Maintaining an inventory of AV equipment at the venue
- Maintaining and repairing the venues AV equipment.
- Being responsible for keeping a diary of upcoming events and hiring ad-hoc AV support where necessary.
- Hiring additional AV equipment where necessary
- Overseeing tech/production elements for larger scale events (Halloween, New Years Eve etc)
Candidate:
- Have excellent technical understanding of live sound
- Be capable of fixing and maintaining sound equipment
- Be organised and capable of advancing events in a prompt and professional manner
- Have good experience organising and delivering tech requirement for large scale events
- Have excellent attention to detail
