Our prestigious client is looking for an experienced Medical Secretary/PA to join a small and friendly team based in rural Chelwood Gate.
This role will see you playing a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional patient care. You will be the first point of contact for all patients and medical staff across the London and Sussex practice by phone and email and be responsible for all aspects of their administrative care, booking appointments and diary management. You will also be responsible for all billings for the plastic surgical practice including processing invoices, taking payments, liaising with insurance companies and chasing up late payments.
This will be a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, paying £28,000 -£32,000 depending on experience.
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Be a customer focused individual with an excellent telephone manner with the ability to respond to a wide variety of enquiries with kindness and empathy at all times.
- Have the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring work is completed to a high standard with a strong attention to detail.
- Have knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Practice Manager software would be an advantage.
- Previous experience within a Medical PA or Secretary role in a medical setting is essential.
