Phlebotomist Healthcare Support Worker (GP Practice) – Part Time over 5 days
Salary: Dependant on experience
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Phlebotomist Health Care Support Worker to be part of our welcoming, forward thinking team at Dr Fraser & Partners.
The post holder will be required to undertake the following duties:
- Assist in patient care & practice related duties, as directed by the supervision of a registered healthcare professional
- Collaborate with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients
- Provide essential tasks including:
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Phlebotomy (Blood samples)
- Urinalysis
- Processing Specimens
- Promoting health education
Good observation and communications skills is key in this role as well as having a caring and compassionate manner.
