A unique opportunity for a Commis Waiter/Waitress to join Tamburrini and Wishart's.

Located where the Scottish Highlands meet the Lowlands, the 17th century Baronial estate where Cameron House resides is rich in character and history. With an award-winning Spa with rooftop infinity pool, an 18-hole championship golf course, an extensive array of resort activities, and a choice of six restaurants and five bars that will cater to everyone.

The iconic lochside setting is impressive in its grandeur, celebrated and treasured. Set within 400 acres of beautiful Scottish countryside, adventure is on your doorstep, with Loch Lomond providing the perfect location for water sports and land activities, including speedboat tours, paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking, 4X4 off-road driving, falconry and more.

THE ROLE – COMMIS WAITER/WAITRESS

The menu is inspired by Scotland’s natural larder showcasing world-class seafood including hand-dived Orkney scallops, Gigha halibut, and fresh langoustines. The menu will also include very best of British produce including Dornoch lamb, chicken from St. Brides Poultry and seasonal game and vegetables. The three-course Market Menu will offer seasonal dishes like Red Wine Braised Ox cheeks, Crab and Lemongrass Velouté and a Pink Lady Tart Tatin for two.

As Commis Waiter/Waitress you will assist the Chef De Rang in your section, providing a warm welcome and flawless personal service. You will be fluent in fine food and wine, and have keen attention to detail to deliver an exceptional fine dining experience.

Key things you will be responsible for:

Ensuring all is prepared in advance of service mise en place including cutlery, glasswear, linen, and accompaniments

Restaurant cleanliness and presentation

Setting tables

Service of food and beverage

Clearing tables

Crumbing down

Re-setting tables as required

Restocking of stores and supplies

Closedown duties

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

National 5 Qualifications in English and Maths or SVQ Level 2 in Hospitality/Food and Drink Service or equivalent qualifications or equivalent industry experience

Recent or current experience of working in a quality restaurant environment

Passion for service excellence

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Competence in IT
