As our Business Development Manager, your role will be to develop our income generation through a variety of means such as identifying and securing Apprenticeship/AEB opportunities from both Levy and non-Levy employers; offering short course training, overseeing work placements and developing business opportunities for the College. You will be sourcing new client leads and developing further our existing client base in the local area, in line with our funding allocation, targets and future growth plans.
You should be able to build and maintain relationships with employers, ensuring that their needs and expectations are managed effectively, promoting the College through effective sales techniques to effectively make the College the provider of choice for the employers in our area.
Through this, you will raise the awareness of the range of services that we offer, becoming an ambassador for the College, promoting and representing us at events both internally and externally, and actively seeking out further opportunities for growth.
This is a proactive role, where your focus will be on identifying training opportunities with new and existing clients across all sectors and you will be expected to play a vital role in meeting our targets and plans for growth.
We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering exceptional service to our local employers on behalf of the College, and who wants to provide our students and learners with the best range of opportunities available, in order to secure their future development and enhance their career options.
If you have Business Development/Sales experience, ideally within the apprenticeships and education/learning and development sector, or alternatively with experience and knowledge of selling across the sectors that we deliver in, then we would be pleased to hear from you.
Able to work flexible hours and locations when required. Driving license essential.
