Job Description

Liquid Violet is an audio production company specialising in voice casting, performance capture, and postproduction, based in the heart of Covent Garden. Part of the Keywords Studios group, we opened our state-of-the-art studios in 2018, where we produce original dialogue for games and animated series, as well as localisation services and UK English dubbing for leading SVOD platforms. We work with awesome talent, and the biggest entertainment brands in the world. Our clients include AAA and indie developers, animation studios, filmmakers, and streaming platforms, and we are committed to providing creative and technical excellence. Simply put, we bring characters to life!


We are looking for a talented Producer to manage the audio production of UK English dubbing and voice origination for our SVOD, broadcast, and theatrical clients across the Media and Entertainment service line. This role is responsible for end-to-end project management and communicating regular updates to internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, as well as being a point of contact for key clients such as Netflix.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Account management - building and maintaining relationships with Liquid Violet’s M&E client base
  • Point of contact for key stakeholders
  • Quoting
  • Budgeting
  • Scheduling
  • Contract management – review of PSAs, SOWs, and talent agreements
  • Project management across casting, pre-production, voice recording, and post-production
  • Developing and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Liaising with other studios in the KWS group to coordinate international collaborations and to share resources and best practices
  • Managing activity at external/third party facilities
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments, trends, and opportunities
  • Ensuring best practices pertaining to talent unions and rates
  • Revenue and cost tracking, reporting, forecasting

Skills required

Requirements (at minimum)


  • Account management experience in a client-facing role
  • A thorough understanding of audio production pipelines
  • Experience of managing P&L
  • Localisation/dubbing and/or animation VO experience
  • People management
  • Similar experience within a production company, recording studio, or post-production environment
  • Mac user
  • Familiar with PM systems (Farmer’s Wife or similar)
  • Proficient in O365 (especially Excel)
  • A second language
  • Knowledge of rythmo band software such as Voice Q
  • Good knowledge of video codecs, sample rates and file formats
  • A passion for games, TV & film
  • Knowledge of UK acting talent
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time and stress management and organisational skills
  • Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and provide solutions
  • Team player – flexible and willing to diversify as required
  • Analytical and strives for continual improvement and efficiency
