Blink22 is a renowned Dubai-based IT and software development consulting firm with operations in Dubai, Egypt and Singapore. Known for its engineering, design and product talent with a stellar reputation for high quality work, Blink22 acts as a true partner for clients on web and mobile app development projects. Blink22 is now expanding to the UK and are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join and help to lead their UK expansion. Blink22 has worked with some of the biggest names across both developed and emerging markets, including Careem (ride-sharing platform in Dubai), Khatabook (SME bookkeeping and accounting), Jumia (publicly-listed company doing marketplace, logistics and payment services).

Job Description

Are you a hungry, results-driven, customer-focused individual with a passion for selling technology services?

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and in growing Blink22’s client base in the UK. You will be responsible for generating leads, closing deals, managing key client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be an entrepreneurial go-getter, growing relationships and onboarding clients as the face of Blink22 in the UK.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue and profitability
- Drive profit and sales through a consultative approach
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective clients
- Collaborate with our technical teams to develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing
- Provide regular reports on account status and growth opportunities

Requirements
- At least bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- At least two years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management in the software and IT industry (preferred)
- Proficient in CRM software
- Strong network amongst businesses and startups in the UK
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
