Ever thought of working in a live entertainment venue? Grimsby Auditorium are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to be part of an exciting FOH team. Experience in a bar/cafe environment is preferred but not essential as training will be given. A positive and can-do attitude is essential and we would expect excellent customer care. You will be required to work generally weekends, evenings and the occasional day time shift.
Serving of alcohol is one of the responsibilities for the role, so age restrictions may be applied to the candidates to comply with the license condition (must be 18 years of age or older).
- Front of house meet and greet, customer venue familiarisation, working in our coffee shop and bar outlets.
- Ensure full compliance with bar licencing conditions as the role requires the serving of alcohol.
- Undertake routine preparation of the facility for the use and complete security checks when required.
- Handle cash and be able to balance cash using a till system.
- Support event administration procedures including for example; ticket checks and completion of registration/entry forms.
Hours for this position will differ due to the nature of the work, you will be required to provide cover on a casual basis, which will include working flexibly including evening, weekend and bank holiday to meet the needs of the business, which operates a varied programme 52 weeks per year.
