Our client is a well-known and reputable HGV dealership with several depots across Hertfordshire, Essex and East Anglia. Currently they are looking for an experienced Service Advisor / HGV Service Advisor / Automotive Service Advisor to join their busy depot.

Salary from £25,000 - £28,000
Bonus and Overtime also available

Week one: 07:00am – 16:00pm
Week two: 09:30am - 18:00pm

What you will do
· Advising on technical queries or issues
· Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out
· Informing customers of the progress of their vehicle
· Cross selling products and services where applicable
· Finalising the invoice on completion of required work
· Promptly greet customers in the service department.
· Perform a walk-around of customer vehicle to document existing damage, tire condition, and note any opportunities to provide services.
· Listen to customer's complaints and description of symptoms; clarify description of problems; check vehicle maintenance records.
· Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
· Generate service order estimates and quotes for customers.
· Understand the technician's diagnosis and service recommendations.
· Explain cost, service process and time requirements to customers in detail
For this role it is essential you have experience of working within a customer focused role within the Motor industry. You also need to be organised, able to multi-task and manage a busy workload.
