Small Works Manager (Property Maintenance & Construction)
The Unitty Group have gained a reputation for successfully delivering minor and major building and property improvement projects to a high standard. Our works include planned and responsive repairs, refurbishments of private, local authority and healthcare settings, and building renovations/extensions.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Small Works Manager to join our team
The ideal candidate will be office based, with site visits and appointments scheduled into their diary daily
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend set appointments to quote new work, cost up and prepare quotations
- Source and order materials for projects
- Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed
· Ensure work is organised efficiently and jobs are completed on time
· Ensure high standards of workmanship through on site inspections
- Overseeing and planning for Multi-trades professionals and contractors
· Communicate effectively with the colleagues, customers and contractors
· Identify opportunities to improve the service that the team provides
- Work alongside MD to deliver projects
Ideal candidate will have:
- A track record in a similar role
· Good knowledge of all functional aspects of building, construction and maintenance
· Good understanding of Building Regulations
· Good understanding of current Health and Safety legislation
· Trade qualifications and sufficient practical experience working within a Multi-trade/building environment
The role comes with a company van and work phone
Driving licence essential.

Salary: £34,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
