We are looking for a/an: NDT Inspector (m/f)
Contract: Permanent/Fixed Term
Start date: As soon as possible
Location: Bristol, UK.
Hours: Full-time.
You shall be energetic, innovative, curious, enthusiastic, constructive, autonomous, rigorous and polyvalent. You shall be capable of leading several projects at a time, while dealing with priorities. You shall wish to progress within an innovative and growing medium-size company.
Along with:
- Maintain obtained skills and certifications and acquire new ones
- Work on requirements provided by management whenever called upon
- Plan, evaluate and carry out non-destructive material testing (NDT) for national and international customers
- Carry out tests in the areas of magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, visual inspection, X-ray testing and ultrasonic testing
- Document test results in writing
- Carry out standardized tests on a wide variety of materials
- Vocational training as a materials tester or comparable qualification
- Certified X-ray test level II according to DIN EN ISO 9712 or certified as RT film evaluator*in RI level II according to DIN EN ISO 9712
- Certified ultrasonic test level II according to DIN EN ISO 9712, surface crack test (MT/PT), visual test (VT) is an advantage
- Part 145 Experience
- Certified phased array ultrasonic testing and/or TOFD level II in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9712 (desirable)
- Qualification / certification RT / UT / MT / PT / VT according to ASME Code (desirable)
- Driving license class B and willingness to travel (mainly national)
- Demonstrable organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written skills
- You shall be flexible, rigorous and autonomous
- Good PC skills and confident handling of Office programs
- Willingness to work shifts
