Job Description Optime are excited to be recruiting Warehouse Operatives in partnership with DHL at Gatwick Airport. This job offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities. What’s on offer: • Rate of Pay: £11.27 per hour (plus Holiday and Pension) Shifts: 2 x Days (6AM-6PM) / 2 x Nights (6PM-6AM) / 4 x OFF Hours: 40 hours per week PLUS overtime paid at x1.5 £50 a month bonus after completing Security & NXCT (Screening Course) £10 a month bonus after completing DHL approved FLT Training Staff parking Weekly pay (Every Friday) What you’ll be doing: Ensuring stock levels are accurately counted using handheld scanners Assisting with inbound/outbound deliveries Operating all equipment, as per training, to meet safety expectations Complying with strict security processes Travelling airside with deliveries to assist with unloading on-site General warehouse duties as instructed by your supervisor Always maintain a safe working environment The ideal candidate: Great work ethic Ability to work in as team Experience of working towards targets Feels comfortable lifting items up to 23kg in weight Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential You must be able to provide 5-year checkable history to secure long-term employment within this business Successful candidates will need to partake in a drug and alcohol test during the interview process. Due to the location of this warehouse a Driving Licence is preferred Please note: As this is an Airport role, successful candidates must pass security checks in-line with CAA regulations. These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.
